Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and YouGCTube (“YouGCTube”, “we”, “us”) for using yougctube.com and everything on it. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use YouGCTube for a business, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
1. The service
YouGCTube is a studio for making product videos. You can generate videos with AI presenters and your real product, edit them, review and approve them, run live shows, send them to streaming-TV advertising through Vibe, and publish them to accounts you connect, such as TikTok and YouTube. Features change over time, and some depend on your plan.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use YouGCTube.
- You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google. Give us accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you invite colleagues to your workspace, you decide what they may do there, and you are responsible for what they do.
- Tell us straight away at hello@yougctube.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
3. Plans, credits and payment
- Plans. Paid plans are billed in advance each month through Stripe and renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Credits. Making videos and other paid actions use credits. Your plan’s monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not carry over. Credits you buy separately are kept until you use them. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Refused or failed videos. If a video fails, or our checks refuse it before it is delivered, you are not charged credits for it.
- Prices. Current prices are on the pricing page. We will tell you before a price change affects a plan you already pay for.
- Refunds. Unless the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the credits or items it paid for are removed from your account.
- Taxes. Prices may not include taxes, which are added at checkout where they apply.
4. AI-generated content
Videos made on YouGCTube are generated by AI models. The people in them are not real customers and did not use your product.
So you agree: not to present an AI presenter as a real customer, reviewer or endorser; not to remove or hide the AI-generated disclosure the studio adds; and to follow the rules on endorsements and advertising that apply to you, including the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s, and the rules of every platform you post to.
- The studio checks scripts and generated speech for claims it will not publish, such as invented testimonials, unsupported health or earnings claims, and scarcity that is not real. These checks help, but they are not legal advice, and you remain responsible for what you publish.
- AI output can be wrong, odd or similar to other people’s output. Review every video before you use it.
5. Your content
- What you upload stays yours. This includes product photos, videos, scripts, voices, customer lists and anything else you provide. You give us permission to store, process and send it to the services that make and deliver your videos, only so we can provide YouGCTube to you.
- What you make is yours to use. As between you and us, you may use the videos you make on YouGCTube for any lawful purpose. Some AI providers’ terms may also apply to their output.
- Showcase. We only show one of your videos publicly, for example on our showcase, if you mark it public. You can turn that off at any time.
- Your promises. You confirm you have the rights to what you upload, including the product, its images, any music, and the likeness or voice of any real person, and that your content follows these terms and the law.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use YouGCTube to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, or copy a real person’s face or voice without their permission;
- make deceptive advertising, including fake reviews or testimonials, false health, financial or product claims, or content aimed at deceiving viewers about what is AI-generated;
- make sexual content, content involving minors, harassment, hate, or content that promotes violence;
- send spam, or upload customer lists you do not have permission to use for advertising;
- interfere with the service, get around its limits or checks, access it in ways we don’t offer, or resell it without our written agreement.
We may remove content or limit accounts that break these rules.
7. Connected platforms
You can connect your own accounts on other platforms, such as TikTok and YouTube. When you do:
- You authorize YouGCTube to post the videos you choose, or to send them to your drafts, on that account. We only post what you publish or approve, with the settings you choose.
- That platform’s own terms, policies and community guidelines apply to what you post there. For example, TikTok’s Terms of Service and its Music Usage Confirmation apply to posts sent to TikTok.
- You can disconnect an account at any time from Connected accounts, or from the platform’s own settings.
- We are not responsible for how another platform handles, ranks, removes or restricts content.
8. TV advertising
TV campaigns are run through your own Vibe account. Vibe bills media spend to you directly; it is not billed by YouGCTube. Publishing a campaign starts real advertising, so the studio asks you to confirm the most it can spend before it publishes. You are responsible for your campaigns, their budgets and their content, and Vibe’s terms apply to them.
9. Ending your use
- You can stop using YouGCTube at any time, and delete your account yourself on the Account page. Deleting it cancels your subscription straight away, without a refund for the rest of the billing period, and any remaining credits are lost. See the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and when.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or leaves a payment unpaid. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to download your videos.
10. Disclaimers
YouGCTube is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate or fit a particular purpose, or that a video will be accepted, approved or perform well on any platform.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, YouGCTube will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to cover YouGCTube for claims that arise from your content, your campaigns, or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the studio before it takes effect. Continuing to use YouGCTube after that means you accept the updated terms.
